Our Translucent Plastic Business Cards are a high quality solid plastic card which are semi transparent due to the frosted finish.
As they have a frosted finish, they are not crystal clear, they look similar to frosted glass in the way they are semi-opaque.
Our translucent plastic cards are very popular as business cards, typically printed with 2 ink colours, however we can print just one ink colour (silver is popular) or upto 4 ink colours. Whichever colour option you choose, you can be sure that they will look stunning and won't fail to impress.
We can print clear ink on the back of the frosted plastic cards. This then acts as a watermark effect as it is very subtle and can only be seen when held at the correct angle to the light. It's a great way to add some flair to your plastic card design.
When you have placed your frosted plastic card order we will then email a photo-realistic proof to you for approval, typically within 1 hour.
Our frosted plastic cards are the highest quality which are both manufactured and printed in England unlike some low quality cards used by some of our competitors.

We often find that our customers don't have the time or required software to create their own translucent plastic business card artwork, so we are happy to do this for you free of charge.

We have a wide range of stunning foiled metallic ink colours. Our most popular ink colour is metallic silver foiling, and also metallic gold foiling.
If your looking for something to really catch the eye, we have a diffraction foil, holoprint which refracts the light creating the same sort of effect as when you look at a CD.

Clear Ink
We can print clear ink on the back of the cards which creates a subtle watermark effect as seen, an example can be found here
The effect is very subtle which can only be seen when the translucent plastic card is held in the light. The parts of the translucent plastic that are printed with the clear ink appear less frosted (more clear) than the rest of the card.
Translucent Plastic Card Specifications
Our translucent plastic cards are the same size and thickness as a debit or credit card (86 x 54mm and 0.76mm / 760 microns thick).
They have rounded corners and are semi-transparent due to the frosted finish.
Tinted Translucent Plastic Cards

How are they printed?
We print each colour of your design as individual printing processes using 8 tons of force and very high temperatures, typically over 200 deg C.
We are able to print upto four ink colours onto our frosted plastic cards with perfect precision.
Our printing machinery is state-of-the-art and it is designed solely for printing plastic cards so we are able to print and dispatch your translucent plastic cards very quickly and efficiently.
