Our Satin Black Plastic Business Cards are a high quality solid black plastic card that has a lovely satin (matte) finish.
The satin finish is on both sides and we can print upto four ink colours onto each side using our wide range of metallic and non metallic ink colours.
They are very popular with customers who are seeking a business card that looks sophisticated, they are especially eye-catching when printed with metallic silver or metallic gold inks.
We can print a glossy black ink as part of your design to produce a subtle watermark effect. The card looks glossy and feels different (a very tactile experience) when the glossy black ink is printed.
When you have placed your order, our studio will email a lovely realistic proof to you usually within one hour for you to approve.
If, when you see your proof you decide that you need alterations to the artwork, either email your new artwork to us (if it's your artwork) or if we created the artwork for you, let us know what changes you require and we will email a new realistic email proof to you for approval.

Dazzling Foiling & Metallic Colours
We have lots of vibrant foils in metallic colours. The most popular metallic foil is metallic silver, followed by metallic gold foil.
We also have an unusual foil, holoprint which refracts the light to create a rainbow effect of colour. When viewed normally it looks like metallic silver but as it is angled in the light all the colours of the rainbow can be seen, similar to how a CD looks as it is angled in the light.

Gloss Black Ink
We can create s subtle watermark type effect on the satin black plastic cards by printing glossy black ink as part of the design.
The effect is very subtle but as the card is angled in the light it will become more visible. The parts of the satin black plastic that are printed with the glossy black ink look glossy and have a different feel and texture to the rest of the card.
Satin Black Plastic Card Specifications
The cards measure 86 x 54mm (same size as a credit card) and are 760 microns thick (credit card thickness) with a high quality satin finish on each side.
The corners are rounded and we can print onto both sides of the cards.

How are they printed?
Each colour is printed onto to the plastic cards using a very special process which combines upto 8 tons of force and temperatures of over 200°C to fuse the printing onto the card surface.
Typically we print upto four ink colours onto each side of the satin black plastic cards. Each colour is individually printed in separate printing passes with pixel perfect precision.
