Turnaround times for our Hot Foil plastic cards

This page applies to our hot foil stamped plastic cards which are:

Translucent Frosted Plastic Cards

Satin Black Plastic Cards

Metallic Plastic Cards

White Plastic Cards

We usually email your realistic proof to you the same day, if we receive all the details for your order in the morning, if not your realistic proof will be emailed to you the next day.

Usually, if you supply artwork to the correct specification then your realistic proof will be emailed to you within an hour.

If you need any alterations to your artwork, we will try to email a new realistic proof to you within 24 hours for your approval.

Our working days are Monday to Friday (9.30am to 5pm) and exclude bank holidays.

When you have approved your realistic email proof, we then aim to dispatch your order in 7 working days.
We do have an express service, we guarantee to dispatch your cards in 4 working days, please ask for details.

Note: Your email proof must be approved before 12 noon for that day to be counted as a working day.

All turnaround times quoted for the printing of the cards are approximate and intended as a guide. They start from when you have approved the realistic email proof

If you are in a rush for your cards and we are creating your design for you then you need to factor the time it takes to create your design and for you to approve it, in addition to the the turnaround time required for the printing of your cards.

This is very hard to do as how long a design takes is like asking how long is a piece of string. We may create your card design and then email a proof to you within a couple of hours of receiving your order. However, it may take you a day or two to get back to us and you may require some alterations. If you do want any alterations, this is fine, just let us know what they are and we will then modify your design and email a new proof to you asap, this is normally within 24 hours.

Sometimes, the only way that we are able to meet deadlines is if our express order service is selected, please ask for details.

How fast can we print and dispatch your order?

How fast we can print and dispatch your order depends on:

1. You being able to meet deadlines set. For example, if we need you to email your artwork to us (to the correct specification) by 12 noon and you are not able to do this then it will affect the turnaround time of your order.

2. If we are printing from artwork that you supply or whether we also have to spend time creating your design or spend time fixing technical issues with your artwork.

3. How quickly you can approve the realistic email proof. For example, if you delay approving it by 2 working days then the turnaround time for your order will be affected.

Also, if you need to supply new or revised artwork or if we are creating your card design and you require changes, this will also affect your turnaround time.

Below is an example with the customer supplying print ready artwork to the correct specifications

Monday - At 10am on Monday morning, a customer places their order with us and emails print ready artwork to us (to the correct specification).

At 11am we email a realistic proof to the customer to approve.

At 12 noon, the customer approves the realistic email proof so we can then proceed with the printing of their cards. We aim to dispatch the full order in 7 working days

Tuesday - we are busy with printing the order

Wednesday - we are busy with printing the order

Thursday - we are busy with printing the order

Friday - we are busy with printing the order

Saturday - (not classed as a working day)

Sunday - (not classed as a working day)

Monday - we are busy with printing the order

Tuesday - Today the order will be dispatched. Delivery (is usually next day) by courier.

Once you have placed your order you will receive a realistic looking email proof to approve. When you have approved it we will then proceed with the printing of your cards and they will be dispatched in 7 working days or in a guaranteed 4 working days if you have selected our express service.
